If you are self-isolating and need support these are an excellent place to reach out for help. If there are any local groups or threads that we haven’t included please use the contact page to let us know.

Mental Health Support


Emergencies:

If you have seriously harmed yourself – for example, by taking a drug overdose – call 999 for an ambulance or go straight to A&E.
Or ask someone else to call 999 or take you to A&E.

If you are feeling suicidal please call Samaritans FREE on 116 123 at any time of day or night. Visit their website HERE .
You can also call 111 out of hours for emergency NHS support.


One to One Support:

Visit releasethepressure.uk and Talk to a trained counsellor for FREE on the phone or webchat : Don’t suffer in silence.

For young people under 19 who need to talk, please call Childline on 0800 1111. It is free and does not show up on your phone bill.


Domestic Abuse:

Silent calls to the police will work if you are not safe to speak – use the Silent Solution system and call 999 and then press 55.

If you are isolating, but need support and advice on domestic abuse, help can be accessed through Oasis Domestic Abuse Services or you can freephone the 24 hour National Domestic Violence Helpline on 0808 2000 247
* If you are in immediate danger, please call 999 for the police.
If you are in a non-emergency, call 101 to speak to an officer in confidence.
